Staff Members Manju Alex, MD Manju Alex, MD joined Bayview Nephrology in September, 2009.  She graduated medical school at the University of Kerala, India.  She came to Erie from the University of Miami where she completed a fellowship in Nephrology. She also received additional training at the University of Miami in Interventional Radiology.  Dr. Alex is originally from Kerala, India.  She is married and has three children. Peter P. Barzyk, III, MD Peter P. Barzyk III, MD is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and has been with Bayview Nephrology since 1986. He graduated medical school at the Georgetown University School of Medicine.  He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the District of Columbia General Hospital, Washington, D.C.  He completed his Nephrology fellowship at the Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C, Dr. Barzyk also served as a staff Nephrologist in the U.S. Naval Reserves, Oakland, California before coming to Erie. In addition to his work at Bayview Nephrology, he serves at the Medical Director for the Erie Dialysis Center.  His is married and has two daughters and three grandchildren. Alexander Kosenko, MD Alexander Kosenko, MD has been with Bayview Nephrology since 1986.  He received his MD at Autonomous University Guadalajara, Guadalajara, Mexico.  He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the South Baltimore General Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Dr. Kosenko completed his Nephrology fellowship at the University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. He is certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the Renal Physicians Association and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Kosenko serves at the Medical Director for the Davita Dialysis Center, Corry, Pa. and the Home Hemodialysis Center, Erie, Pa. Asim Ranjan Singh, MD Dr. Asim Singh is a native of Hazaribagh, India.  He has been with Bayview Nephrology since 1993. He obtained his MD from Rajendra Medical College, Ranchi University, Bihar, India.  Dr. Singh completed his Internal Medicine residency at Prince George Hospital, Cheverly, Maryland and his Nephrology fellowship at Presbyterian University Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. In addition to his work at Bayview Nephrology, he serves as the Medical Director for the Peritoneal Dialysis Center, Erie, Pa. and is also a Nephrology lecturer at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is married and has three daughters.
